Background
For as long as I can remember, my body felt as if it was wrapped in a layer of cold armor. Winter’s chill never seemed to leave me—even in the middle of summer, my hands and feet remained icy. The discomfort of a cold-energy body (寒性体质) went far beyond seasonal inconvenience. I couldn’t even tolerate room-temperature water. A single bite of something cold would instantly trigger sharp headaches, like being pierced by needles—intensely painful and impossible to ignore. Day after day, I clung to my insulated thermos like a lifeline, guarding my body with warmth. A simple cup of hot water became an essential part of my life.
The Transformation
This lifelong condition began to change when I started studying and applying the Shindo framework deeply and consistently. Through ongoing efforts to shift both my thinking patterns and behavior patterns, I started to notice subtle changes in my body. The cold no longer clung to me as before. It felt as if my body was gradually reclaiming its natural warmth.
At first, I didn’t dare to drink anything cold, fearing my body would still react. But deep inside, I sensed that the old “armor” was slowly dissolving. Then, on a sunny afternoon, I cautiously took a sip of an iced drink. I waited for the usual headache or stomach ache—but none came. Instead, a refreshing coolness spread through my body. From that moment on, I began to enjoy iced drinks freely, feeling a new kind of freedom I had never known.
Current State
Today, I no longer depend on a thermos. I can drink water at any temperature I choose. For the first time, I understand why people in other countries casually drink ice water—it was never about their habits, but about the freedom of their physical state, something I had long been cut off from. This transformation is more than just physical recovery; it feels like a quiet kind of rebirth. I have been released from a self-imposed limitation and now embrace the natural warmth of life.
Insight
Looking back, I now realize that a cold-energy body is not something unchangeable. The Shindo framework carries profound power and hope. What it gave me was not only physical warmth, but also inner strength. To anyone who is struggling with similar physical discomfort, I want you to know: Change is possible. Your body holds incredible potential—waiting to be rediscovered.
