Background
Since childhood, I had always felt uneasy about the way I walked. Every time I stepped outside, I felt stiff and uncomfortable, silently hoping that no one would notice me. One experience in middle school turned that unease into deep-rooted shame: I was rushing to school because I was late, when I overheard some classmates whispering and laughing behind me. It pierced my heart—they were mocking the way I walked.
From that day on, I tried to avoid walking whenever I could, even for the shortest distances.
Turning Point
Through studying the Shindo framework, I gradually came to understand the connection between the body and the mind. As my awareness deepened, I began to sense that my walking issues might be related to a long-standing pelvic tilt—something I had never paid attention to before.
After completing a series of Shindo sessions, I was walking home one evening when I noticed something extraordinary—my steps felt lighter, smoother, and more natural than ever before. It was as if my body had found its own rhythm and ease.
Later, a friend with fitness expertise confirmed that my pelvic tilt had visibly improved. I realized that something I had carried for years was finally being corrected—not just physically, but emotionally too.
Current State
Today, I can finally walk with ease, filled with a sense of inner calm and quiet confidence. Each step I take under the sunlight is a new experience. The same person who once dreaded walking now finds joy in gentle strolls, sensing the natural flow of life in every stride.
Reflection
This transformation has brought more than just physical comfort—it has rebuilt my confidence. It taught me that no matter how long we’ve carried certain habits or issues, they can be changed. Every step can hold strength and freedom. If we dare to face ourselves—to observe, to explore, to try—then somewhere along the path, we can rediscover the joy of walking freely in our own way.
