In the past, I often found myself trapped in cycles of emotional suffering. You could call it overthinking—one strange thought after another, one emotion leading into the next. These thoughts and feelings kept piling up and once made my inner world unbearable. It wasn’t physical pain or outer suffering—it was inner suffering: restlessness, anxiety, and constant mental distress.
But after I started learning the Shindo courses and earnestly applied the methods taught by Mr. Way Sun, things gradually began to improve.
This healing wasn’t instant. It took time, patience, and a genuine inner shift. To give a metaphor—it was like having a chronic headache. You need a proper treatment process. And just like medicine, the process wasn’t always easy or pleasant. Taking your “medicine” regularly may be uncomfortable, but as the saying goes, “bitter medicine brings healing.” If you refuse the treatment, the illness will never go away. That’s the truth. Looking back, the emotional suffering I used to experience has decreased significantly.
Had I not gone through this process, I would never have realized that emotional pain and anxiety can actually be healed—not through external medication, but through effective, inner methods. I’m deeply grateful for both the teachings and the pain itself, because only through pain did I gain the opportunity to grow.
This experience has shown me something powerful: whether you’re facing setbacks, pain, failure, anxiety, or other negative emotions, these aren’t necessarily bad. In fact, if you respond with the right tools and timely actions, they can become gateways for inner growth.
Once you break free from emotional suffering, you gradually become less affected by it. I sincerely hope that more people who are going through emotional struggles—whether anxiety, restlessness, or pain—can also learn these powerful and effective methods, and use them to improve their life condition.
May everyone find freedom from suffering and become a truly joyful, peaceful person.
